  1. Three Day Road is a great book: I've discussed it in two groups composed of friends, and at three libraries where I lead discussions. Great writing, and a most interesting way to get around the problem of how to tell a story full of horrendous details. If you'd like some resources, I'd be glad to pass them along (websites about Native Canadians in WWI etc.)
